As a vegan fashion activist, Sica Schmitz started the Fair Trade Fashion Show, now known as the Impact Fashion Show, an annual volunteer-run nonprofit event first held in 2015. Her passion and focus is on fashions that honor animal, human, and environmental rights. Her vision of creating a fashion industry that is safe for people, animals, and our planet. With veganism being the central focus of her Impact Fashion Show, Sica’s vision continues to expand. “I really think they’re essential for the survival of our humanity, our planet, and in the fashion industries.”
