In today’s news, Norway increases support to assist wintry humanitarian needs in Syria, global economy predicted to experience slow growth over next two years, innovative curriculum integrates dog-people to promote social-emotional education, seagrass found growing deep underwater may help reduce global warming, young students in South Africa raise funds to help orphans, Veganuary 2023 challenge hopes to attract a million participants, and new 24-hour rescue hotline for animal-people in Taiwan (Formosa).

Norway offers additional funds for Syrians in urgent need.

After 11 years of conflict, the people of Syria are facing another difficult winter. The United Nations estimates that three out of four Syrians are in dire need of humanitarian aid this winter. Norway is providing a further US$5.2 million in assistance, which will be channeled through UN humanitarian funds, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Norwegian Refugee Council, Norwegian Red Cross and Norwegian Church aid. The funds will be used where the conditions are most acute, which includes efforts to control the current cholera outbreak, as well as recovery initiatives such as necessary maintenance and rebuilding of vital infrastructure. This donation will bring Norway’s 2022 overall contribution to Syria to a total of US$76 million. Norway is a recipient of Shining World Leadership Awards for Environmental Protection, Humanitarianism, Good Governance and Peace, and a laureate of Shining World Leadership Awards for Animal Protection and Compassion. Our heartfelt gratitude, Norway, for your continuing and compassionate support for the faithful people of Syria. May the situation in Syria quickly improve, in Allah’s Grace.

Data shows world economy slowing.

International forum Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) recently stated high interest rates and increasing inflation will result in an estimated global economic growth of 3.1% in 2022, 2.2% in 2023, and 2.7% in 2024, compared to 5.9% in 2021. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP), a standard measurement of economic health, is expected to drop in the US and Europe. OECD said how fast the economy can recover will depend on factors like mitigating the climate and energy crisis, which has been worsened by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine (Ureign). OECD proposed, “An end to the war and a just peace for Ukraine would be the most impactful way to improve the global economic outlook right now. Until this happens, it is important that governments deploy both short- and medium-term policy measures to confront the crisis...” Thank you, OECD for working to improve the world’s economic situation. In Celestial wisdom, may international policymakers act cooperatively and optimally for everyone’s peace. Vegan now: cos we can’t blindfold justice.

Up next, innovative curriculum integrates dog-people to promote social-emotional education. We’ll just thank vegan burger producers for developing tasty and nutritious plant-based patties, made from vegetables, soybeans, chickpeas, black beans, and other healthy and economical legumes. Please stay for more leading news on Supreme Master Television.

Hi, happy friends, it’s Heather, a vegan mechanic from the Harp Seal kingdom! I very much enjoy my deep-sea dives, up to almost 300 meters, while maneuvering my body under the water with grace and ease. But you know, I really need your support, because it's so essential to protect our gorgeous aquatic home! Here is a helpful tip for you! After you are done working with grease, grime, or paint, your hands will probably need a good rinse! To get all the muck off your hands, simply add sugar to your soap to serve as an abrasive. Your hands may also be dried out and cracked if you work intensively. In this case, combine equal amounts of sugar and olive oil to moisturize and comfort your hands. It'll feel much better! Big love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants! And thank you for tuning in. Now the weather around our beautiful globe.

Dog-people play important role in children’s mental health.

The world’s largest no-kill animal-people rescue, North Shore Animal League America, in New York, has developed the second part of their Mutt-i-grees Curriculum School Dog Program. Available online, the initiative’s focus is to integrate our canine friends into the everyday activities of a school. By interacting with doggy-colleagues and finding out about the life challenges homeless dog-individuals face, the students’ learning experience will include more compassionate and social aspects. It also prepares the groundwork to develop the next generation of animal-people advocates. The program has been implemented in more than 5,000 schools across the US, Canada and a few European countries, and receives financial support from the non-profit Robert H. Spitz Foundation. Our appreciation, North Shore Animal League America and all involved. May we treat our animal friends with respect as they continue to bless our world with their intelligence and love, in Divine delight.

Newly discovered Antarctic seagrass is a potential carbon sink.

With assistance from various organizations and institutions, a team from the Rothera Research Station in the Antarctic peninsula have discovered a type of seagrass, called red alga Palmaria decipiens, growing 100 meters below the surface of the sea in the region. Seagrasses are potent extractors of carbon from the ocean and atmosphere, where they are able to store it deep underwater, thus safeguarding the environment and helping to decrease ocean acidification. The researchers used a small remotely controlled vehicle to find the plant, which helped them to determine that it was growing at such a deep level. Way to go, international researchers and supporting organizations, on your discovery that seagrass can grow at 100 meters below sea level and potentially help sink excess carbon. In the radiance of the Providence, may humanity quickly go vegan and reduce emissions to ensure the ongoing survival of the planet and all beings.

South African school children raise money to build home for disadvantaged youngsters.

Ninth grade students Josh MacDonald, Luke Carter, Pablo Slaven and Deen Fortune from Bishops Diocesan College in Western Cape, South Africa, were inspired by the United Nations goal of Zero Poverty to improve the lives of less fortunate children. In collaboration with non-profit entity, “Township Help,” the young students held a charity auction event with the purpose of raising funds, to help build a new home for the children of Vuka Nomtobhoyi Orphanage and Educare Centre, in Langa Township, Cape Town. The kind teens raised over US$23,000 from the auction of eleven items, which included a painting completed by the orphanage children. The young humanitarians also organize monthly food parcels and travel weekly to Langa Township, to read stories to the children. Our heartfelt thanks, caring students, for your considerate actions. We pray for a bright future for these loving South African children, in God’s loving Embrace. Vegan: feel God’s Love?

Coming up, Veganuary 2023 challenge hopes to attract a million participants. During this brief interlude, we will now convey our heartfelt gratitude to God for the gift of resilience, which enables us to bounce back after undergoing a crisis. We’ll return with more beautiful news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Loving News for a Selfless World.

Veganuary 2023 celebrates the many benefits of the plant-based diet.

UK-based non-profit Veganuary 2023 encourages people to follow a healthful and delicious plant-based diet for the month of January and hopefully longer, citing the immeasurable benefits. Bolstered by support from celebrities worldwide, its advocates include actor Joaquin Phoenix (vegan) and Sir Paul McCartney (vegetarian), a Shining World Compassionate Artist Award laureate. The compassionate vegan lifestyle saves the lives of billions of animal-people every year, as people choose plant-based options. Furthermore, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) has described health advantages of veganism, which include a reduced risk of developing many chronic illnesses such as cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s, cancer and diabetes. Veganuary was founded in 2014 by Jane Land and Matthew Glover and has helped approximately two million people. Three cheers, for a triumphant Veganuary 2023. In Heaven’s blessings, we pray that this collective transition to the vegan lifestyle will sweep the world and initiate eternal peace on Earth.

Capital city of Taiwan, also known as Formosa, introduces new 24-hour hotline to rescue animal-folk.

Taipei City government recently launched the “1959 Animal Protection Hotline,” for the public to report sick, injured or abused animal-people. The contact number 1959 is a close homophone of “You save, I save” in the Chinese language, making it easier for all to remember. In 2021, there were over 9,800 animal-person related reports to the city, resulting in 5,300 rescues of our animal friends, including 1,300 feline- and canine-folk. Those that needed medical help were sent to partnering veterinary hospitals. In another notable city achievement, Taipei opened its 19th dog-people park in November 2022, with now at least one in each district of the city. Taipei City is a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion recipient. Admirable job, Government of Taipei City, for your demonstrated kindness to our innocent and loving co-inhabitants. May our animal friends always be loved and protected, in Buddha's sheltering comfort.

Now, it's time to free some hearty giggles within us as the joke of the day is here. It's entitled, “A Historical Story.”

One day, Alicia asked her mom:

“Mommy, please tell me a historical story!”

“Sure. Once upon a time, there was a frog-person...”

“But Mom, I want to hear a historical story.”

“OK. In Ancient Greece, there was a frog-person...”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Zhi-Shan in China:

Most Beloved Tim Qo Tu – Lord Master, and the respected Supreme Master TV team,

Thank You, Divine Master, for talking to the Supreme Master TV team and sharing Your photo on the 5th of October. Thank You for using all kinds of means to spread Love and energy to nourish the world at this critical moment! Without You – God Master – coming to Earth, without Your boundless loving Power, and without Your benevolent guidance, I cannot imagine what would happen to the beautiful Earth.

Gazing at Master in the picture, I feel indescribably moved. During my meditation that evening, I urgently urged myself from inside: “Little time is left! Little time is left! Little time is left!” with my heart beating rapidly.

The next day, I continued to meditate and saw an inner vision: In the northwestern sky, there were a lot of extremely bright light spots connecting together. Thereupon, the whole world was shaking unprecedentedly… After a long time, we groped our way out of the house. The scene in front of us seemed to be the relics of hundreds of years ago — there were ruins everywhere, thick dust, dead stillness, and no sight of humans or animal-people. After walking for some distance, we were lucky to find food, and we were even luckier to see other people, who were few in number but very kind in heart. After the catastrophe, people naturally gathered from all directions to live together.

In this realm, people deeply repented and learned from the mistakes they’d made a long time ago. They held a joyful heart to be reborn into a future Earth filled with great love and long-lasting peace. With divine love, Zhi-Shan from China

Perceptive Zhi-Shan, We too feel the urgency in Master’s plea for the world to change to vegan living now, and thank you for relating your inner vision. May Heavens graciously lead you and successful China to a peaceful and loving future. In Celestial Light, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has these wise words of reply for you: “Calm Zhi-Shan, the tremendous, unthinkable calamity seen in your meditation can still be avoided. Nations worldwide must immediately take positive actions, such as enacting Vegan Law to preserve the lives of humans and the animal-people kingdom for a true and lasting peace, for pleasing Heavens and Earth, thus gaining souls’ liberation, forever free from life/death and suffering, by God’s Mercy. My Love to you, and may the great Buddhas immerse you and the protective Chinese people in Divine Wisdom.”

Want 2 look more beautiful? Yes? Then choose vegan.

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal-people clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline

Thank you for your company on Noteworthy News. May Heaven's infinite grace be your cherished guide.
