An article in the online magazine Vegan Food & Living explores the philosophy of political veganism. It proposes four ways for government policies to implement veganism: 1. Reforming public institutions: For example, free vegan meals in schools 2. Ending animal-people meat and dairy subsidies: Saved funds should be redirected to crop-based agriculture or alternative protein production 3. Recommending vegan dietary guidelines: All national dietary guidelines and climate plans should include the vegan diet 4. Investing in innovation and jobs: Government support for the vegan food industry (Vegan Food & Living)

Keeping rice warm in a cooker for over four hours possibly triggers food poisoning risks. Uneven heat allows bacteria to multiply in the “danger zone” below 60°C. Experts urge families to refrigerate leftovers within two hours, reheat them thoroughly, and regularly clean cooker steam vents and heating plates to prevent dangerous bacterial buildup (VnExpress)
Dirty air conditioners can blow harmful mold spores, dust mites, and allergens into indoor spaces, possibly triggering respiratory issues and skin rashes. Humid, closed rooms with dusty filters accelerate mold growth. Physicians urge families to clean units regularly, improve ventilation, and avoid sealed spaces. They also advise early medical care for repeated symptoms to prevent chronic respiratory conditions (VnExpress)

The state of Penang in Malaysia is trying to push households to use less water, aiming to cut domestic consumption to 250 liters per person per day this year. The state water company says usage has already dropped from 308 liters per capita per day in 2023 to 261 liters per capita per day in 2024, thanks to conservation campaigns with local partners. Domestic users still consume more than half of Penang’s total daily water supply, and officials warn that limited land and climate pressures make conservation essential. Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow says meeting the 250-liter target would extend the effective supply duration of Penang’s two main dams by 37% during hot, dry periods — enough to prevent a water crisis during El Niño years (Malay Mail)
Experts warn that Q-Day— the moment quantum computers can break today’s encryption— may arrive sooner than expected, with Google estimating 2029 as a realistic timeframe. This would allow adversaries to unlock financial data, medical records, emails, and cryptocurrency wallets by defeating widely used encryption systems. Researchers caution that attackers may already be stealing encrypted data to decrypt later once quantum machines mature (CNN)

Thoughtful quote of the day: “Man only likes to count his troubles, but he does not count his joys.” – Fyodor Dostoevsky Noted Russian Philosopher and Novelist (BrainyQuote)
Previously in Parts 1 and 2 of a multipart series of Reverend Camille Gent’s near-death experience, Camille described the medical crisis that left her in and out of three comas. Camille says her journey through hell and Heaven began during the first coma. She was dragged through dark realms, saw satan himself, and believed she was about to be lost, until God appeared above her and said, “I don’t think so.” After He lifted her back to Earth, Camille says she heard the hospital machines around her before the ceiling turned to clouds, the mighty right hand drew her spirit out, and two angels carried her through outer space toward a bright, city-like place.
And they dropped me right below it. I still go like that to try to see them. And they were gone. And then, all of a sudden, I start ascending up. And as I’m ascending up, I knew that I was changing. I knew that — thank You, Jesus, I still thank Him every day for that — that someday we will be perfect as He is also perfect. And as I was changing, I remember standing on the floor of the throne room, and I go — I had my hands out because I had no idea what just happened. All this stuff is happening, and I had no idea. And so, I’m holding my hands out, and I go, “Oh my gosh, where am I?” And then I heard the Father’s voice, the very first time, and He said, “You no longer have to fear.”
I had looked to my right, and I saw this beautiful white lion. And this lion was magnificent. The Lord has since told me he was 30 feet tall [9 meters], and he was on his hind legs at that moment, sitting on his hind legs. He was to the right of the Father. So, I’ve always estimated, just by the description of the Lion of Judah, I’ve always estimated that that’s what it was. He had these eyes of fire. And I remember thinking, I could fall in those eyes and be happy forever. But Who is sitting next to him? And then I looked, and it was our Father. You just know. So, I knew it was our Father, and He’s just petting this lion. He was tame with Him. He was happy to be there. It was just so beautiful.
So, He was petting him. I remember the Father looked — He was on this throne that changed colors. I’ve seen in the Word, it says a rainbow, like the colors of a rainbow. It wasn’t like that to me. It was more of a pearlesque. So, you know how the pearl will change colors slightly in the light. So, it would do that. Like, I saw white ivory, I saw pink pearl. Very subtle colors. And then the top of His throne had these three-strand white marble and ivy roped like forks at the top. And He was just sitting there. The next thing He said was, “You have a form, and it is perfect.” And as soon as He said that, from Galatians 5, every fruit of the Spirit that we have on Earth with Christ indwelling and the Holy Spirit in us, comes to full fruition there. So, right then, I felt complete joy like I could never explain, peace, everything that you could never explain on Earth.
Camille was then shown that a welcome party was already being prepared for her arrival — and among those helping was a woman she would later recognize from old family photos as her ex-husband’s grandmother, Pansy. No one, to me at least, appeared to be over 35, around Christ’s age when He died for us. So, I described how she would wear her hair on Earth. I described their personalities, their character traits. And then I had it all confirmed about two years after I came back, when I was digging through old photos that were in a storage locker for years and years. I had never seen them before. And I was looking through them, and I said, I just started shaking, and I was like, “This is her. This is her.” The one that was actually holding the clipboard and telling angels where to put my stuff when they were decorating for my party to enter. And he goes, “That’s my grandma Pansy.”
I see hundreds of people gathering to welcome me. And as they’re gathering, I see one little boy at the very back crawling, a beautiful, beautiful little boy. [He] had big curls. And I started asking God, “Who’s that?” And He said, “That’s your son.” And so, see, I had lost in 2010, I lost a little boy. Well, I didn’t know he was a boy then, but I lost a baby at about five months, four and a half months pregnant. It tore me apart. But I want to encourage all you mothers — because you are mothers if you have had this happen to you — that you will see your children if you follow the Lord Jesus Christ. You will see your children again, and God will make up all of that to you. Just please don’t worry that you will be with them again.
In Part 4, Camille witnesses more of Heaven — including the moment she saw Lord Jesus Christ (vegetarian) and the Father looking down at Earth. And the Father says, “I’m looking down on the ones I love.” Join us tomorrow for Part 4 of a multipart series of Reverend Camille Gent’s near-death experience. (God Encounters with Janie DuVall)
