And then when I stepped out of the car to the airport, somebody ran into me and said, “Oh, His Royal Highness, the First Prime Minister is here. You want to see Him?” I said, “Why?” But he said, “Oh yeah, He’s here already.” I said, “Well, I don’t have time.” He said, “Oh, He’s right there at the airplane!” Because He’s sending somebody off. So in that case I cannot not see Him. So I said, “OK, but I don’t have time. I’ll just say, ‘Hallo.’” OK, so He was very nice and He shook my hand and said “Hallo” and all that and then I came up to the airplane. But before I stepped up, He said, “My wife is on Your airplane.”
The question in life is the priority and the quality. It’s not always quantity. So that’s why it’s similar to people when they say they miss God, they love God, they want to search for God, but, “Oh, wait a minute, my child has not grown up, my father has not died, or my mother has not remarried,” things like that, or “I’m busy.” Or “My dog(-person) has not yet reached his old age,” or whatever. Any reason. Yeah, you don’t believe it. It’s true. Yeah, some people cannot attend retreats, seven days or three, four days, because their dog(-people), their cat(-people), don’t allow them. Yeah. True. Nobody takes care of the dog(-people), the cat(-people), then they will not go. And even sometimes dog(-people) and cat(-people), they’re so attached to their owner (caretaker) that if the owner (caretaker) is not there, they don’t eat from anyone else and that’s a real, real binding.
Yeah, I know one cat(-person) like that. I used to have a friend in Germany, he has a cat(-person) like that. Actually, he wanted to be my boyfriend. But he never had enough time for me because he has to always run back. Whenever the relationship became romantic, he said, “Oh, my cat.” He didn’t say, “Oh my God” but he said, “Oh, my cat.” And then I felt like... meeeeooowww. So goodbye! I think finally he will marry his cat(-person). Because his cat(-person) will never eat if he’s away, doesn’t matter for how long. What a way to bind people, huh? Who says a cat(-person) cannot talk? She doesn’t have to talk, she just does it.
Yes. Some people bind us in different ways, and we think, “Oh, this person is so attached and she’s binding me, he’s binding me.” But cat-, dog(-people), can even do worse! So you see, if you don’t have this problem, you have that problem, or you create your own problem because of raising a cat(-person). So even a cat- and dog(-person) can stop you from God, how would anything else not? So if we do not take care to pay special attention to our priority choice, or our quality choice of life, then we’ll be slaves forever, we’ll never have the time or freedom for anything that we really desire to do, or that’s really important to our soul, like finding your real Self, becoming one with God, finding your Buddha Nature, becoming Buddha, etc.
I already told you many times that the only purpose of your physical existence here is to know your non-physical existence, so that in comparison you really, truly know yourself. We become human only so that we can know that we are not human. We become a physical being so that we know that we are a non-physical spirit entity. The physical existence is only a reflection so that we can compare and understand that we are god. Just like a man is necessary for you to see in order to recognize a woman. Without the opposite, one doesn’t know
the real quality of something. If our Sun would shine every day [for] 24 hours, our dictionary would never have the words “night,” or “darkness.”
Therefore, the only purpose of our life here is to know that we don’t belong here. And so the earlier we realize that we are non-physical, we are God quality, the better for us. Because each of us doesn’t know how much time we have on Earth. And if we don’t realize this truth, we have to come back again, again and again until we realize it. This we can do too, but life is so boring. There’s nothing else to do, and so much suffering. Yeah, it’s not worth it. That’s why we should pack them all in one lifetime.
Just right now, before, I told you that you never know if tomorrow you’ll still live, you know? And probably you will argue with me, you say, “No, no, we are initiates, Master will tell us in advance. At least three days in advance.” Oh yes, that’s true, but the way you meditate I don’t know if Master can get the message through to you or not. Because when you meditate sometimes you tilt to the left and sometimes you jerk to the right, and the Master tells you in the right ear, and then you just jerk to the left and you drop on the floor. So nothing’s left in here. Then suddenly you die three days later and you say, “Huh? How come You did not tell me three days before?”
And if the Master even tried to tell you in the dream, you would forget it. Or maybe in the middle of the dream your wife just kicks you, in the you-know-where. And then Master is just not finished yet, He said, “Three days later, you’ll...” And then you woke up because you were kicked in the bottom. Then you would say, “Oh, Master did not tell me anything.” Or probably you’ll wake up and you’ll remember, “Three days later you... you... you...,” what? So, anything could happen in your kind of meditation. So don’t rely on tomorrow. Alright? If you can sleep today, then just sleep. Don’t wait until tomorrow.
The day before yesterday I thought, “OK, never mind if I don’t sleep tonight, I’ll sleep tomorrow night.” And then “tomorrow” night I had something to do all night and all day, and then yesterday night, I also worked until three o’clock in the morning, and then meditated until five, and then I just rested a little, and then I had to get up and catch the airplane to come here... and then… I tell you. Yes, and then in the morning I was very sleepy. I could not eat breakfast or anything because I was just feeling sleepy. I could only drag myself to the airport. Before I went to the airport, in the car I thought, “OK. Now I’m going to sleep in the airplane.”
And then when I stepped out of the car to the airport, somebody ran into me and said, “Oh, His Royal Highness, the First Prime Minister is here. Not because I didn’t want to see Him, but I had at that time only eight minutes to get to the airplane. But His attendant and other secretary tried to lead me to the VIP lounge to sit there and wait for His Royal Highness. They think I always have time, the Prince is the only one who is in a hurry. So I said, “I cannot. I’m sorry I have to catch my plane in eight minutes.” Well it’s good that I did, otherwise His wife would have to wait for me in the airplane if I talked to Him in the lounge because they would not leave without the passengers with a boarding pass. And then if I’m in the VIP lounge, nobody would dare to come in and disturb me and His Royal Highness and say, “Oh, can I see Your seat number?” or “What is Your plane?” and things like that and then we would have more trouble.
But this is just a by the way. So anyhow, I did not go to the lounge, but I went to the airplane and then He told me that Her Highness, the Princess was boarding the same plane as me. He came to see Her off. And so, of course, when She saw me on the airplane, I had to sit next to Her. She didn’t let me sit on my seat. She said, “No, no, no please, Master, You sit here! Please. Very nice to see You! Oh no, don’t go, don’t go.” So I had to sit there and talk to Her. My dream was broken! My dream of sleeping on the airplane was completely shattered. And it’s not that… It was an honor to sit there and talk to Her and it was very pleasant because She’s a really nice person, not only because She’s a Princess. So, I’m just joking with you. I would rather talk to you than sleep. I’m just telling you that don’t expect “tomorrow.” You never know what the next minute will bring you. So, whatever you have to do, you do it.
