Changing the World One Bag at a Time: Young Pakistani Ecopreneur Zymal Umer

Today’s show is about an 11-year old visionary young lady named Zymal Umer. She is thought to be Pakistan’s youngest-ever social entrepreneur. Zymal undertook her first initiative to help the environment when she was only 7 years old. At the age of nine, Zymal founed Zee Bags- an upcycling enterprise or business using discarded material to make new items of value. She hopes to raise environmental awareness not only in Pakistan, but across the globe, so there is a better understanding by all of the need to safeguard our planetary home.
